hopefully one or two caught my monday evening update, where i put up Fiorenti e/w at 33/1 in the Melbourne Cup. Just gave the winner first run, finishing fast and late to take second and make it a fine start to the week for blog readers.

Wednesday continues the quietest start to a week I can remember. If GRANGE (Fairyhouse 1.45) takes his chance after a good second on Tuesday at Punchestown, well worth a look in the market. A winner at this trip recently at Tipperary and could still be progressive.

Also worth noting is that Godolphin have a strong team at Kempton and it would be a surprise if they left without a winner or two at least. I might have a small multiple on their runners, though the progressive Viking Storm looks a serious danger in the Listed race, with formlines working out very strongly and Paul Hanagan on board.

So it's another light day, but the blog's first maximum in a long long time is on its way on thursday... Keep it here! ;)
