SUNDAY 28TH

Apologies for lack of updates, briefest entry today. I put up STOSUR (One-A-Day Nap) a couple of weeks ago but was a non-runner, now goes to Deauville for a soft looking Listed event and is worth chancing e/w at the price 26/1 (not a typo!) with Racebets and 20/1 with Paddy Power.
At Limerick FULTON (e/w 13/2 Paddy) in the closing bumper is also interesting e/w. Heavily gambled favourite for this ravce lst year, but brushed aside by the subsequently very useful Boondooma, looks like they are having another go.

MONDAY 29TH

Huge fan of 'The Fly' that I am and in awe of his unbeaten record at the track, at 4/6 and 6/4 JEZKI (Leopardstown 1.25), the latter has to be the selection. Looked in need of the outing when behind the Fly last time, and that was the Fly's 'Cup Final' for me, whereas Jezki's season was always more likely to build towards Cheltenham.
On the same programme I like Windsor Park and Vigil to win elsewhere on the card. albeit at short prices, and I couldn't put anyone off a treble that would pay around 8/1, but Jezki unhesitatingly, even though having to put sentiment aside, gets the One-A-Day vote

TUESDAY 30TH / WEDNESDAY 31ST. Sho Must Go On

Narrowly missed out on the treble yesterday with a brave Jezki just having to give best on the soft ground after a battle-royal with the Champ.
Just SHORANA 11/10 at Lingfield on Tuesday. Two solid runs for John Oxx, the second of which the runner's up spot in a decent Dundalk maiden to Dalasiri, bought subsequently for 80,000 euros. That sets a good standard and hopefully a winner for the blog.

On Wednesday CROSS GRAIN (Meydan 2.45) is well worth another chance, dropping back to 7f. Had to race very wide and did a lot of running early when caught out by inexperience on second start last time, taking on some pretty seasoned handicappers. This looks a decent opportunity to progress against similar opposition and is a horse with more scope for improvement than others.
